5. Assessment system
The student will be able to pass the subject in two ways:
A) CONTINUOUS EVALUATION
1. Participation, interest and completion of the planned activities. Valuation 10%
Active participation in the classes will be valued, as well as the willingness to expose in public the tasks performed and the completion of the activities proposed by the teacher.
2. Elaboration and defence of at least 4 didactic activities corresponding to the subjects related to the specialty of Economics. Valuation 25%.
Each activity must contain, at least, the following information: objectives, timing, evaluation criteria, teaching resources, methodology, relationship with key competencies, use of ICT. These activities can be carried out during Practicum II.
3. Elaboration of a Didactic Unit. Assessment: 25%
The following aspects, among others, will be assessed: the relationship with the objectives and key competencies, methodology, proposed teaching activities (at least 2), evaluation criteria, teaching resources, integration of ICT and attention to diversity. It can be done in groups of 2 or 3 people.
4. Elaboration and defence of a Didactic Programming. Assessment: 40%
Special emphasis will be placed on methodology, grading criteria, teaching resources, integration of ICT, attention to diversity and monitoring of programming. It can be done in groups of 2 or 3 people. An oral presentation should be made with a maximum duration of 20 minutes between the two parts.
Both the Didactic Unit and the Didactic Program will take into account the presentation, the rigor in the exposition, the quality of the documentation included, the adequate flexibility in the Didactic Program to be able to adapt to possible situations and the distribution of time among the members of the group. The Didactic Unit and the Programming Didactic must be on different subjects.
In order to be eligible for continuous evaluation, the student must complete the 4 proposed parts. A minimum of 4 points in each of parts 2, 3 and 4 is required to average the grade. The subject will be passed by continuous evaluation if the final grade is equal to or higher than 5 points. In case it is lower than 5 points, the student will be able to take the global evaluation test.
In continuous evaluation, the student will know their grade at least three days before the global test so that they can take the global test (either if they has failed or if they considers it appropriate) upon previous notice to the person in charge of the subject.
B) GLOBAL EVALUATION TEST
The global evaluation test will have the following sections:
1. Presentation and defence of 6 didactic activities (three of them corresponding to ESO and other three corresponding to Bachillerato). Each didactic activity must contain the following information: objectives, timing, evaluation criteria, didactic resources, methodology, relation with key competences , use of ICT. Valuation 40%
2. Written exam of short questions about relevant concepts, information, data, etc. provided by the subject and structured in the 5 contents specified for this subject Valuation 60%
Students who do NOT opt for continuous evaluation, who do not pass the subject by this procedure or who would like to improve their grade, will be entitled to an overall exam . In any case, the best of the grades obtained will prevail.
Any student may be called to tutoring to defend all or part of any of the evaluation tests submitted, whether individual or group, in order to ensure original authorship and participation in all of them.
In accordance with the evaluation norms, the second call of each year will be evaluated by means of the global test.
The student who is enrolled in the last two calls will have the right to the same evaluation as the rest of the students.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Rules of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to irregularities committed in the evaluation tests through academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Rules of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
